The City of Bloomington is now accepting applications for the Rapid Response Fund (RRF) for Bloomington businesses, nonprofits, and cultural organizations negatively affected by COVID-19. Bloomington-based businesses, nonprofits, and cultural organizations may apply for RRF low-interest loans. The RRF application and portal can be found here.
You are able to apply for both PPP and EIDL funds, as long as they do not cover the same expenses (i.e. no double-dipping on your payroll to receive both SBA-backed loans.) Check out this Small Business Owner's Guide to the CARES Act for more details.
Reopen with confidence: Schedule a Tiger Team of 2-3 local experts to help you run through your reopening plan questions. The team can help with a lot of different topics, such as rearranging your retail space, HR policies, bookkeeping, PPE recommendations for your staff and customers, safe space design, and more! Please fill out a short request form to get a Tiger Team scheduled. Check out the other great COVID-related resources, including the Bloomington Back to Business webinar series, from the Greater Bloomington Area Chamber of Commerce team!
